| Cylvia Hayes, local sustainability Guru and candidate for Oregon State Representative from the Bend, Oregon District, takes in the recent 14th Annual Bioneers Conference held Oct. 17-19, 2003 at the Marin Center in San Rafael, CA. Over 3,000 attended the 3 day conference, a meeting hub of practical solutions for restoring the earth and its creatures, which arrogant humans and centered corporations have torn apart. Arianna Huffington, California anti-SUV activist, recent California governor candidate, author of How to Overthrow the Government and Pigs at The Trough, to name a few, also attended and participated in a press conference. Bruce Meland, Electrifying Times editor publisher, attended the conference. Bioneers mean "biological pioneers" and are also referred to as Eco-Visionaries. |
