Burbank Local Transit (BLT) awarded Carlynn
Nakamura, System Analyst at Disney, the millionth rider award. Carlynn
commutes via Metrolink from Orange county to Burbank. "I love riding the
train. The train schedules coordinate well with my work schedule and the BLT
shuttle service is great! It's is so convenient, especially because there is
a shuttle stop located right across the street from my office."
To show their appreciation to BLT riders, Burbank's Transportation Management Organization, whose members include media giants Disney, NBC and
Warner Bros., donated $500 to the millionth rider.
BLT offers commuters easy-access to Metrolink, providing peak-hr fixed-route
service throughout the Golden State/Airport and downtown Burbank. BLT
serves as an alternative to the heavily congested highways in the LA area.
