Two Neighborhood Electric Vehicles stood out at the recent EVAA-ETIC Conference and Exposition at Hollywood Florida Dec 10-13. The Sanibel and the ZENN (Zero Emission No Noise) NEV's.

The Sanibel, by Rae-Beck automotive LLC of Sterling Heights Michigan, is a fun, sporty electric, low speed vehicle for the fun at heart. It is perfect for gated communities, beaches and college campuses. It can also be used as a shopping, delivery, recreational, or security vehicle. Rumor has it that Porsche assisted in the design of the roomy body.

The rear seat can be removed for delivery purposes. The all composite fiberglass body has auto style doors with crash beams. It has 3 point seating harnesses and head restraints in all seating positions. It also has an adjustable steering column and auto style head and tail lights as well as turn signals and AS-1 Glazed auto style windshield. The pickup style tail gate makes it perfect for hauling almost anything.
